For those that don’t know me, my name is Susie Bent. I have two sons on the E team. Listening to John Dash talk at the banquet inspired me to ‘give back’. We are very fortunate to have our children in such a caring, supportive and safe football program. I have been a realtor in Dennis for over 7 years. I am an agent at Bayside Realty Consultants. We have two offices one in Dennis on Bridge Street next to the Marshside Restaurant and we just opened a new office in East Orleans, 210 Main St. #1. I have pledged to the Dash’s that any business I get from the Blue Fins, I will give 5% of my commission check back to the program. (This also includes referrals.) Board Meeting

Our next board meeting will be held this Thursday, March 3rd at the Harwich Community Center at 7pm.
Topics on the agenda include a new parent handbook, cheerleading handbook as well as changes to our fundraising policy.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Bluefins would like to welcome Mia Caolo and Bethany Valine to the Board of Directors. Mia will be replacing Saga Rivers who stepped down after many years as cheer coordinator. Thanks to Saga for her hard work and dedication.

Bluefins News

The 2010 Banquet will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 12:00pm at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis. Bluefins football players and cheerleaders are covered by the program. Tickets for adults are $15 and children under 13 are $11. We need a firm headcount by January 10- please send an email to either lowercapebluefins@msn.com or to your team mom with the number in your family attending. Payment should be submitted to P.O. Box 415 South Harwich, MA 02661
The Cape Codder has a wave pool and they are offering room at a discounted rate of $99 per night. Room include admission for 4 to the water park. (Weekend rates are usually $25 per person for the wave pool) The kids had a great time last year playing in the pool after the banquet was over. Many of the parents enjoyed the bon fire later that evening. Call the Cape Codder to reserve your room and mention Lower Cape Pop Warenr to receive the discount.

The Bluefins are looking for a cheer coordinator and cheer and football coaches for the 2011 season. If you are interested or know someone who maybe, please send an email to lowercapebluefins@msn.com

There are 2 coin drives scheduled- December 5th and 12th from 10am-12pm at the East Harwich Stop & Shop. If you still owe fundraising points, this is a good opportunity to sell gold cards or collect donations. Please send an email if you would like to help out.
