The Lower Cape Bluefins are a part of Pop Warner Little Scholars organization offering children ages 5-13 on Cape Cod the opportunity to participate in Pop Warner tackle football and cheerleading . Tackle football eligibility is based on an age/weight combination set by the Pop Warner Little Scholars. Football players must be 7 years old by July 31, 2012.  Cheerleaders must be 5 by July 31, 2012. We are based on Lower Cape Cod serving the towns of Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Welfleet, Truro and Provincetown, MA. Our home games are played at Nauset Regional Middle School in Orleans, MA. Lower Cape Pop Warner is a part of the Hockomock League.

The 2011 Lower Cape Bluefins D Team played in the Hockomock Division 2 Super Bowl. They dominated play for the entire four quarters, not allowing the Taunton Tigers to move past the 50yd line. Taunton’s defense stopped them several times at the goal line. On the final play of a overtime, Taunton made it in to the end zone and won the game 6-0.

The 2011 E1 Team finished their season 12-0. Both E1 & E2 teams played in the Mashpee Mitey-Mite Tournament in November. E1 finished their perfect season with a 13-7 win over the E2 team in the championship round of the tournament.

The Lower Cape Bluefins 2008 C Team claimed the Hockomock Super Bowl Championship and were 2 wins away from making the trip to Disney World for the Pop Warner National Championship. This was the furthest any Lower Cape Pop Warner Team had gone before.

The 2007 B Team were the Hockomock Tournament Champions. They had a spectacular season, finishing with a record of 8-2

The Bluefins  season starts in early August with practice  days a week. There are  regular season games played on Sundays.  games are played on our home field at the Nauset Regional Middle School and  are played at other venues in the Hockomock League.

The “unofficial” season runs from January to December with league meetings, registration, fundraising, etc.
